cutting the baby mullets is one of the saddest days in parenting for me. awww. their first haircut! it kinda takes them from baby to a little person. thank goodness for hair doodles because i wouldn't go near that squirmy little head with a pair of scissors. sam and fu i don't mind cutting but ollie---no way! any who.... here goes.

snow day
anticipation caused us to cancel a beach trip. thank goodness it all worked out.
snow=cold. white. beautiful. laughter. smiles. fun. excitement!
it was a perfect weekend. quite a surprise for those of us down south. this is certainly not something we get to experience that frequently. the last time we had snow like this was when sam was just a few months old!
my mom and i made a quick trip to the store for the stuff to make us some chili...yum. it was flurrying and beginning to stick. when we came out the parking lot was covered! i couldn't wait to get home to see my boys play in it! we all stayed up late and drank hot chocolate and watched the opening ceremony of the winter olympics. we even camped out in the den and watched the snow fall all night.
it was such a nice treat for the boys to wake up to a yard covered in white. we spent the whole day playing outside. i just loved it!!!

Well, all I have to say is ya gotta love yourself first, right!
If you ahven't had a chance to join Fultonisms...please do. It's hilarious!
The Valentine's Chicken made his annual pit stop at Casa de Baker! Sam, Fu, and Ollie awoke to goodie bags, books, and brownies!! Then daddy went on a DD run for munchkins and donuts!!!
The boys were out of school on Monday so we took advantage of the extra night and went BOWLING. They had a ball (no pun intended)!!! Sam was whippin' me at one point. Ollie went too and hung out in the stroller cheering us on. We went out for pizza afterwards to top off a fun night.
Valentine's couldn't have been any sweeter with my precious little peeps. We are truly blessed to have each other. I know Valentine's Day is a pretty bogus holiday to most people but I love to celebrate and show each one of my boys how much they are loved with some extra special treats, hugs, and kisses!
