Unless you've been under a rock in Columbia you've heard that another movie is being filmed here. It is called Nailed starring Jessica Biel, Jake Gylenhall, and few others. Well...while watching the news the other night we saw a that they we accepting "head shots" for an open casting call for extras. They were calling on men age 30-80. I JOKINGLY said wouldn't that be funny if you sent your picture in to be an extra...well Shannon who doesn't even like to have his picture taken or be on a home video SENT IT IN unbeknownst to me!!!! And they called him to come today.
He is being cast as a congressman. So he had to dress accordingly. The particular scene was shot at Ebenezer Lutheran downtown as a funeral.
I couldn't get within 100 yards of the "set" so I didn't get any good shots. Sorry!!! Any who...Shannon sat there from 9 AM to 4 PM without food, water, bathroom etc. while they shot the same scene over and over again.
At 4:00 when they broke for LUNCH Shannon decided his acting career was over. He called me and said he was coming home and that acting was for the birds!!!
It was fun while it lasted and we'll all just have to go see the movie when it comes out to see if Shannon actually got 5 seconds of 15 minutes of fame.
